Evelyn and Bryan are such a sweet couple – humble and thoughtful – and so in love. They hired incredible vendors for their wedding day, and that allowed them to relax, and just enjoy being engaged – letting their vendors do the work! When Callista reached out to me about their Solage Calistoga wedding, I was elated. Callista is incredibly talented and it is always a dream working with her and her husband, John. Add in Amy from Gather Design Company…and that’s my dream team!
When Callista was designing this February Solage Calistoga wedding, she decided to lean into Valentine’s day, as the wedding day took place on the 15th. The color palette was filled with coral pinks, bright blush, layers of neutrals and hints of blue.
Evelyn wore her hair pulled back in a low bun with a floral hair piece. She wore a classic, fitted gown with a sweetheart neckline. It was timeless – she couldn’t have looked any more beautiful. Her bouquet was filled with ranunculus, butterfly ranunculus, poppies, tulips, garden roses, and muscari for the perfect hints of periwinkle.
Bryan and Evelyn shared a first look on the Solage property by a walkway lined with trees and growing vines. They were so excited to see each other! The wedding ceremony was held on the Solage lawn. Gather Design Company created a floral arch filled with lush, coral blooms. The bridesmaids wore periwinkle gowns and each carried a unique posy single variety bouquet. 100 of their closest friends and family watched Evelyn and Bryan exchange personal vows. The joy on their faces as they recessed up the aisle as husband and wife is a moment I won’t forget.
The wedding reception took place in the neutral even space on Solage’s property. Guests found their seat with the help of the conversation heart seating chart – each guest’s acrylic box contained hearts with a table number on it. Six tables filled the space. Velvet neutral linens created a sense of warmth while endless bud vases welcomed guests with cheer. Each place setting had a ceramic charger a custom menu. Above the dance floor hung hundreds of flowers to create an unforgettable installment.
The whole reception was remarkable – but I think we all can say that Bryan’s father gave such a moving toast. He showed off his wine bottle – purchased in the year that Bryan was born with the intent to be enjoyed on Bryan’s wedding day. He then proceeded to sing a few verses from “Father and Son.” Tears started streaming down everyone’s face. It was such a beautiful moment.
Bryan and Evelyn, congratulations to you both! Thank you for including us in your wedding – it was a remarkable day! You two are perfect together. I hope that we can spend more time together now that you live in the bay area!
