When we first spoke with Evelyn and Bryan, I had the best feeling. They were so welcoming. They smiled throughout our conversation and were so excited to tell us more about their story and their upcoming move to San Francisco! The conversation felt easy, as if we were talking with friends we had known for years. Needless to say, we had a great feeling about them. I thought their Gold Creek Pond engagement session would be a favorite – and after about five minutes, I knew I was right! These two are so fun and sweet – and the backdrop could not have been more beautiful! Can you believe this is just an hour outside of Seattle?!

Bryan and Evelyn met while getting their master’s at the University of Michigan. They were both in a Taiwanese business club and had met casually once or twice, but it wasn’t until a mutual friend officially made the introduction that Bryan and Evelyn hit it off! Bryan proposed on a cold winter day. While the two crossed over a bridge, he and Evelyn stopped to admire the view, and Bryan stepped back, pulled the ring out of his pocket, and began to kneel. When Evelyn turned around she was so surprised to see him down on one knee! It was the perfect way to begin this next chapter! Since then, they’ve moved to Seattle, and will be packing up again to move down to the bay area. We can’t wait for their Napa wedding next February!

We met in the morning for their Gold Creek Pond engagement session (they even brought us donuts from their favorite local shop!). It was chilly when we first arrived, but it warmed up quickly. Evelyn and Bryan were so easy to photograph! They did such an amazing job – we had the best time exploring the area together.

Bryan and Evelyn, thank you, thank you for including us in your wedding! We are so excited that you’re going to be closer, and hopefully we can show you around to all of our favorite spots. We loved having a few hours to get to know you both – thank you for being so gracious and fun!
