I am thrilled to share the sweet love story of Diece and Chris, a couple whose journey from Chicago to Cape Cod to SF is nothing short of heartwarming. Nestled in the picturesque landscapes of Marin County and Baker’s Beach, we took engagement photos for them amidst the overcast skies, adding a touch of romance to the already stunning backdrop.

Diece and Chris’s story began in the vibrant city of Chicago, shortly after they graduated from college. Fate intervened when Diece, working in advertising, accepted a dare to be a server at her favorite restaurant and bar in Lincoln Park. Little did she know that this decision would set the stage for a serendipitous encounter with Chris. Introduced by a mutual friend, their connection blossomed as Chris became a regular at the restaurant.

A chance meeting at a charity ball brought Diece and Chris together once again. Chris, along with their mutual friend Johnny, made quite an impression. It wasn’t long before Chris mustered the courage to share his number with Diece, and the rest is history. Their love story unfolded against the backdrop of Chicago’s bustling streets and laid the foundation for a journey that would take them across the country. In 2020 they officially started dating, and shortly thereafter, Chris was promoted at work – which took him to SF. Diece moved along with him, knowing that what they had was real.

Chris orchestrated a surprise engagement in Cape Cod, where his family has a cherished beachside home. The proposal took place on a tranquil August morning, with the entire family present to share in the joyous occasion after Diece said “yes!”

A year later, they’ll be exchanging vows along the water in Lake Tahoe at Edgewood. We cannot wait to document their wedding day, planned by our favorites at Jenn Robirds Events.
