Casey and Gavin are beautiful people – inside and out. These two work in the same industry and had attended a few of the same industry events. Gavin recognized Casey and knew he wanted to start a conversation, but the moment never happened at the meeting. It was hard to break away from the larger group and start a private conversation with someone in the circle. However, fate still had plans for these two! They matched on a dating site shortly thereafter and instantly hit it off. They started dating right away. As two city-loving individuals, it only seemed fitting that we stay in SF for their photos – having a Legion of Honor and Lover’s Lane engagement session.

After four years of dating, Casey and Gavin were in Lake Tahoe for a snowy weekend. Despite crazy traffic and an 11 hour drive, Gavin kept his cool and proposed while snowshoeing. Casey was shocked – she had no clue despite that everyone in the family had been filled in.

We loved spending the afternoon with these two in the city. They have a delicate balance of playful, yet calm energy. They are intentional with their questions and decisions. They have a fresh energy and are present in the moment. They invited us back to their apartment after the session getting to know them and I knew they were the kind of couple we’d enjoy spending more time with.
