Emily and Marc had quite a journey to get to their day of their intimate Viansa wedding – but it was worth the wait! Three wedding dates later, a new venue and vendor team, and a worldwide pandemic, they were excited to finally tie the knot. It was amazing to finally meet these two in person! I adored how they both soaked up the moments of the day – feeling so present. Letting the emotions roll over them.

Marc and Emily met in undergrad at Cleveland State. A power couple, they are both in medical school pursuing different fields. They have a deep love for travel, and once they saw Viansa, a venue inspired by Italy, they knew it was the spot. It reminded them of their trip to Europe, when they got engaged on the Cinque Terre!

They had only eight guests there as they exchanged their vows over looking the rolling hills of Sonoma. It was so touching, as everyone was close family. Marc teared up seeing Emily for the first time as she walked down the aisle. Watching these two interact together filled my heart. It is so clear that they adore each other! They are so excited to start this next chapter together!

A gourmet dinner was served (with signature cocktails too!) under a canopy of greenery on the terrace at Viansa. The golden sun soaked the space with warmth as each family member gave a toast to the newlyweds. Everyone was reaching for their tissues throughout the night. It was such a touching celebration. The evening concluded with Emily and Marc cutting their cake – using the same serving utensils that have been passed down through the generations.

Marc and Emily, it was such an honor being part of your day and celebration! You two champed up through that 100 degree weather – I’m so impressed! Emily, you looked so beautiful, and Marc, I love how emotionally invested you were throughout the day. I am so happy for you both – congratulations on your marriage!
