Amanda and Kyle were one of those couples that were supposed to tie the knot last year during covid. They had found City Hall on Pinterest and knew that was the place for them to get married. They were ready to pack their bags and fly in from St. Louis with their immediate family for the day, but last year had other plans. They waited patiently. Very patiently. And the day that we found out that City Hall was reopening for weddings, Amanda booked an appointment, booked some flights, and made it happen! These two were ready to tie the knot and have their dream SF City Hall wedding! This time around in the planning, they decided to make it even more intimate and just celebrate themselves. That left me with the responsibility of photographer, witness, and ring bearer! Truly, it was such an honor and joy to be a part of their story on this day!

Kyle and Amanda started dating in college during their senior year. They met at a coffee shop where they were studying independently. Both of them needed an outlet for their laptop, so they shared a table and started chatting. Needless to say, their laptops didn’t even get opened and four hours later, they exchanged numbers.

These two have such a good energy and are truly remarkable humans. They love to travel and even moved to China to teach English. While there, they explored Thailand, Singapore, Cambodia and numerous other spots.  After over a year of anticipation, I was elated to meet these two. They gave the best hugs and we were all on cloud nine as we had City Hall practically to ourselves.

Kyle and Amanda, thank you so much for including me in your wedding! It was an honor to be such a big part of your day. You both are wonderful humans and I’m inspired by your kindness and outlook on life. Congratulations to you both!
