I am a recent California transplant, and I’m constantly blown away by the beauty here. When I heard about the Le Collectif workshop in the rolling hills of Santa Ynez at the iconic Kestrel Park, I had to learn more! The incredibly talented and kind hosts – Kaleb Norman James, Amanda K, and Maria Lamb – welcomed all of the attendees with open arms. There was something different about this workshop – it was focused on community and I could tell from the start that these hosts were cheering us on! I’m very excited to share the main shoot with you today – the spring wedding at Kestrel Park!
This romantic spring wedding inspiration, designed by Kaleb (and executed with the help of the attendees on the floral/planner track), took my breath away. Styled romantically with butterflies and blooms, the letterpress invitations from Grey and Cake set the stage for the event.
Our bride wore a low cut Alexandra Grecco gown with delicate appliques. She carried a garden-style bouquet with peonies, distant drums, and roses. Her hair was partially pulled back, and a veil was clipped in for the ceremony. The rest of her locks remained loose and curled.
The intimate reception was held on the lawn under the most incredible trees. A neutral linen acted as a clean backdrop for the tablescape. My favorite element were the velvet chairs from Theoni Collection – aren’t they incredible?
At the end of the spring wedding at Kestrel Park, the couple exited through the rolling hills in a vintage Porsche. Talk about incredible California golden light!
Thank you to Ruffled for sharing this wedding on your blog!
