Nestled in the heart of California’s picturesque landscape lies Filoli, a historic estate brimming with elegance and charm. On a warm summer day with perfect weather, I met with Halle and Lucas to capture their engagement photos at this stunning location. The sun casted a golden glow over Filoli’s enchanting gardens. Built in 1917, this Georgian-style mansion boasts 16 acres of immaculately manicured gardens and a landscape that seamlessly blends art and nature.

Halle and Lucas’s story unfolded amidst the harmonious notes of the university band during their college days. Fast forward to March 2023, and Lucas orchestrated a different kind of symphony—a proposal that set the stage for their journey toward marriage. The couple recently moved to Palo Alto, creating a home away from home. They are both looking forward to their upcoming wedding in Austin, Texas.
