Against the iconic backdrop of San Francisco City Hall, this couple celebrated their love and made things official. Their February 2023 wedding was a testament to the couple’s deep connection, the significance of family, and the beauty of embracing love amidst life’s journey. Bay Area natives, the couple discovered each other through a dating app three years ago. Our bride, initially cautious about online dating, found herself on a serendipitous journey that led her to the groom, who affectionately admits he had been on his fair share of first dates. (But you never know which one will be your last first date!). As their love blossomed, the past year, marked by both beauty and hardship, only strengthened their bond.

For this couple, the allure of an intimate celebration took precedence over a grand wedding weekend. San Francisco City Hall provided the perfect backdrop for their vows, exchanged on the 4th-floor balcony in a city that holds a special place in their hearts.

Central to their celebration was the presence of family. Opting for an intimate gathering, the day began at the bride’s house, infusing letter exchanges, and lots of niece snuggles leading up to the ceremony. The bride’s attire added a touch of modern elegance to the proceedings. She chose a simple yet stunning Galia Lahav gown, adorned with a distinctive back cutout—a beautiful complement to the timeless setting of City Hall.

Tears of happiness flowed freely throughout the day, as the intimate setting allowed for genuine and heartfelt moments. The ceremony featured a ring warming ritual (something that we did at our wedding), allowing each guest to hold onto the rings and send prayers and good wishes to the couple before they exchange them, symbolizing the warmth and love shared by their closest friends and family. Three charming flower girls brought an extra layer of joy and laughter to the celebration.
