Sam and Mike are the kind of people you want to spend more time with. They have such great energy, contagious smiles, and thoughtful perspectives. I feel so grateful that we were able to work alongside an incredible team for their Cavallo Point wedding this past May.

When envisioning her wedding, Sam wanted it to feel like a stroll through the English countryside – with wellies on your feet and your dog by your side. Jenn Robirds took this vision and executed it flawlessly – from the chunky blankets at the ceremony to the florals at the reception that almost appeared to grow directly out of the tables.

The wedding took place at Cavallo Point, a gorgeous hotel in Sausalito. Mike and Sam selected this venue, as it is one of their favorite spots. Just a 15 minute drive, crossing the golden gate bridge, and you feel like you’re worlds away. The Golden Gate Bridge appeared throughout their wedding design – in their envelope liners, their epic seating chart, and on their dinner menus.

While there were so many remarkable details about their wedding, the true centerpiece was Sam herself in her floral Oscar de la Renta gown. She is an only child, and went dress shopping together with her parents. She saved the Oscar de la Renta store as her last stop, and when she put on this dress they all knew it was the one. It was a sentimental moment for them to have together.

Of course, one of my other favorite details was their dog, Goose. He is such a have for the camera! He walked down the aisle with the best man and made his rounds during cocktail hour.

Sam and Mike, photographing your wedding was a highlight of our year and a dream come true. Everyone was so kind and had the best time celebrating you! Congratulations again!
