Being from Florida, I didn’t get to experience fall… but now that we’re living in California, I have to say wine country in the fall is hard to beat! I love photographing the leaves as they change, so many beautiful colors. For this wedding inspiration, the color palette might have said “spring” but I love how this Campovida wedding inspiration came together and that it still managed to represent fall in Hopland, California!
Campovida is a beautiful venue tucked up in northern California. It is surrounded by beautiful trees, vineyards, and rolling hills. I could photograph numerous weddings there and never get bored – there are so many perfect spots on their property for photos! It was honestly almost overwhelming… we could hardly decide where to start!
The inspiration for this shoot came from Alice’s blue sequined dress. We wanted to tie in a soft complimentary color to complete the color palette. Allie from Bloomwell and Co did an amazing job tying in our request for yellow and white blooms while still making it feel like fall. The ceremony was set up beneath a 600 year old oak tree on the Campovida property. The florals arched up the tree in such a beautiful way.
Our couple couldn’t have been sweeter! They have been together for 10 years and show so much adoration for one another. Ashley’s hair was tied in a loose fishtail braid. In her hands she carried a bouquet filled with dahlias, garden roses, cosmos and ranunculus. To compliment her blue gown, she wore Elsa heels from Bella Belle – adding just a little more sparkle. Her stackable rings from Aurora Designs were the perfect combination of original and elegant.
The reception table was designed flawlessly by Riley Loves Lulu. The velvet linen from La Tavola acted as a neutral base and allowed some of the accents – like the dual toned plates and long-stemmed wine glasses to show off. Of course, the elongated centerpieces couldn’t have been more lush or beautiful!
At the end of the wedding, guests enjoyed a delicious two tiered cake with a gold ruffled edge by Shwaika Cakes.
