I’ve wanted to photograph a Viansa wedding for more than a year now. There is something so appealing about this winery… the soft orange tones of the buildings, the trees on the property that make you feel as though you’re in Italy, and the golden light that just says “welcome to California.” I’m thrilled that this editorial allowed me to document each of my favorite elements of this winery venue in Napa.

The wedding invitation suite by Paper Ocelot set the tone for this fall Viansa wedding. The texture of the paper goods, the colors, and the detail were unmatched. The calligraphy was fresh and elegant, while the wax seals added a little something extra to many of the paper elements. My favorite detail was the calligraphed envelope liner.

Our bride wore the most beautiful blush Alexandra Grecco Iris gown with a plunging neckline and delicate appliques. Her hair was pulled into a low updo with a delicate braided look. Her makeup was fresh and organic, showing off her natural beauty. She wore Bella Belle Florence heels. I still can’t believe how stunning she looked! She and her husband were so fun to photograph! They looked at each other so lovingly – and giggled throughout the evening! My favorite!

The reception was set by the vineyards on Viansa’s property. The La Tavola Adelaide linen had a delicate sewn texture that added depth to the design. JMK Events incorporated olive plates and wooden chargers to tie in the color palette with the warm-toned centerpieces, created by Oak and Ash with roses, rosemary, mums, and lisianthus.

The cake, by Ma Petite Maison, featured many ruffled layers and petite floral decor, to mimic the appliques on the bride’s gown.
