Many people often overlook the invitation suite as it isn’t often physically part of the wedding. However, I would argue that it is one of the most important aspects of a wedding design. It sets the tone for your day.
It offers insight for the guests regarding what type of wedding you will be having. The inspiration for this shoot came from a geode-style invitation suite from Wedding Paper Divas. With the help of Amber Veatch Designs, this inspiration came to life.
The turquoise, blue, white, and metallic color pallet flowed throughout the event.
The groom wore a checkered skinny time with a gray suit. A white rose and thistle boutineer pinned to his lapel completed the look.
The bride wore a jaw dropping gown from Rebecca Schoneveld. The intricate beading around the neck and back line was perfect. Around her neck she wore a simple geode necklace. She carried a garden style bouquet created by Amber Veatch Designs. The textures and subtle color variations played off of each other beautifully. Her makeup was fresh and dewey. Her hair was brushed back and placed in a casual, loose bun.
The ceremony was held at CL Space in Ybor. With the exposed brick walls as a backdrop, the history and character in the venue is unbeatable. Glass lanterns and floral pieces hung from the copper backdrop.
After the ceremony, guests found their seat with the help of a gorgeous, unique seating chart. Each individual had a marble octagon representing their place, that also doubled as a coaster.
The tables were intimately set for six guests. Beautiful open back benches from MMD Events offered a modern, elegant feel to the rustic farm tables. Each spot was set with gold flatware and chargers from Set Rentals as well as deep blue goblets from Ever After Vintage Weddings. The three, lush centerpieces flowed down the center of the table.
Guests had the opportunity to enjoy blueberry mojitos that tasted just as good as they looked! I loved the rosemary and blueberry garnish atop the glass.
The cake from Trudy Melissa Cakes was a show stopper. The marbled turquoise base, solid gold top tier and terrarium cake topper blew me away!
This shoot brought together so many incredible talents and I’m so thankful for each and every vendor that helped bring this to life!
