Eeek! I don’t even know where to start with this one! I was over the moon about Ali and Brock’s wedding from very early on in the wedding planning process for so many reasons! All of my excitement and anticipation leading up to the event didn’t even come close to how I actually felt while we were there. This wedding was a dream from start to finish!
Ali was surrounded by her closest family and friends all morning. She and the bridesmaids looked flawless! Let me also say that Ali was the most relaxed bride I have ever worked with. So low key and go with the flow! Her bridesmaids wore beautiful pale blue dresses with lace straps. Ali put on her beautiful lace dress in the Presidential Suite on the top floor of the Hyatt Regency. Her dress was so beautiful – there were multiple layers of lace that gave the dress so much dimension. Her mother, future mother-in-law, and godmother buttoned her up into her wedding dress.
When it came time for Ali and Brock to see each other, I could hardly contain my excitement! After their first look, they exchanged their wedding vows. They wanted the moment to be private – just for them. They both ended their vows the same way, and after that, I lost it (Keep it together, Emily!!).
Because these two opted to do a first look, we were able to knock out all (and I literally mean all) of their photos before the ceremony. They had such a fun wedding party surrounding them throughout the day! All of the ladies carried gorgeous bouquets.
The sweet and simple ceremony was held on the lawn. A wooden cross, draped in florals, stood in front of them as they exchanged their rings. All of their guests cheered with joy as Ali and Brock were proclaimed husband and wife!
From there, the cocktail hour began. The guests stood around hightop tables and enjoyed their cocktails. A seating chart with the most beautiful calligraphy guided the guests to their seats. And don’t even get me started on the reception space. When Thomas saw the reception setup, he came up behind me and said, “This is what we’ve TRAINED FOR!!!” I absolutely cracked up!
The whole event was outdoors (be still my heart!). The wooden crossback chairs were stunning. The linen tablecloths were so simple, yet beautiful. Rose gold details brought the whole design together. Menus were nestled into napkins and florals were overflowing from the centerpieces (speaking of menus – the dinner was delicious! They had so many fun stations). To top it off, bistro lighting was strung above the tables.
The reception was fun and lively! The guests filled the dance floor through the evening as country tunes played. A major highlight of the night was when the donut bar opened up! What a fun favor idea!
Ali and Brock, you two are incredible and your wedding was an amazing success! I know you both have a beautiful relationship filled with so much laughter and love. I’m so thankful that Thomas and I had the chance to play a small part in your beautiful wedding. Thank you!
Excited to see this wedding on Style Me Pretty!
And a big thank you to the dream team that put this wedding together:
