My heart is so full and happy! I’ve got a killer session for you today – the smiles and laughter between these two are contagious. I mean, I can just feel their happiness when I look through these images. We were so excited to take their engagement photos in both Newport Rhode Island and Taunton Massachusetts – checking two states off of our list! 😀

Casey and Anthony met in college because of a fire alarm. Yeah, you know – those fire alarms that go off at the dorm and everyone evacuates at an inconvenient hour? Yup. One of those brought these two together. Granted, Anthony may have been part of the reason that it went off…but that’s beside the point. As they were all waiting for the alarm to be shut off, they gathered with mutual friends, where they were introduced.

Between then and now, Casey and Anthony have endured quite a bit of long distance. They have spent a date or two at an aquarium. They’ve also earned a handful of degrees between the two of them. We’ve got some smart cookies over here!

Casey is a huge fan of New Orleans. She and Anthony visited the city of Bourbon Street and Gumbo about a year and a half ago. While they were there, they decided to visit the aquarium and see the penguins. Not only did they get to see the penguins, they got to go into the exhibit and pet them! (jealous!) After they excited the exhibit, Anthony asked Casey to sit down….and asked her to be his wife. Casey said yes – and the celebrated by enjoying fried green tomatoes!

Now they are finalizing their wedding plans. We can’t wait to celebrate with them next month in Sarasota!

For their engagement, we flew up to Massachusetts over the labor day weekend and got to know these two and their sweet pups – Bea and Godzilla. Our photo session may have lasted almost all day between the driving, the traffic, the tourist pit stops, a delicious lunch, a nap, the nature park, and a dinner filled with ice cream. I’m going to go ahead and say, it was a successful weekend!

Casey and Anthony – thank you so much for including us in this adventure! We loved spending the weekend with you and oh my gahhhh your house is adorable. We are so excited to see all of the pieces come together next month and celebrate with you! Maybe I’ll even get Thomas to wear a tuxedo t-shirt.
