When we got the news that we were moving to San Francisco, my dear friend Ingrid from Molliner Photography instantly messaged me and told me about Annelys and Dan’s wedding at The General’s Residence at Fort Mason. She was going to need a second photographer for the day and I’m so glad that the dates worked out and that I could help her! Honestly, I rarely second shoot, but spending time with Ingrid is always a joy and I was ecstatic to have the opportunity to help her with this wedding!

The day started out with Annelys getting ready at the Ritz Carlton in SF. It was a grand, magnificent building overflowing with fresh flowers. Once hair and makeup was complete, we headed to The General’s Residence at Fort Mason for the wedding.

Annelys and Dan’s wedding was filled with royal blues and silver. Throughout the day – in the invitation suite, escort cards, wedding reception decor – there were nods to San Francisco and the life they have built together here. Their wedding ceremony was held on the lawn in the back of The General’s Residence. Overlooking the water, you could even see Alcatraz. Annelys wore a fit and flare lace dress that was stunning! She wore family sapphire earrings to tie in with the colors of the day – it was the perfect “something blue” and “something borrowed.”

Dan and Annelys were so sweet together! Their joy was contagious – it was hard not to smile the entire day! One of my favorite moments was when Dan recited his vows in Spanish. Everyone was so thrilled to see these two join as one – it was a beautiful day!
