The day had finally arrived. Almost two years after their proposal, Tim and Chelsea’s Plantation Golf Course wedding was upon us. The weather was perfect, cloudy skies with hints of sunshine peeking through.

All of the loose ends had been tied – pictures had their frames, gifts had been wrapped, center pieces were placed and name cards were set out.

Chelsea and bridesmaids got ready in the basement at The Plantation Golf & Country Club. Everyone’s hair and makeup looked flawless.

Around noon, Chelsea’s mom and maid of honor, Kierston, helped her into her gown. I think we all got a little teary eyed.

All the while, Tim and the groomsmen were playing pool upstairs and enjoying the wedding festivities.

One of my favorite moments from the day was Tim and Chelsea’s first look. So much anticipation and excitement! Tim was floored by Chelsea’s beauty and it was so fun to watch them enjoy this first moment together on their wedding day.

It was a really wonderful and beautiful wedding – filled with great people, rocking music, and all the love that a couple could hope for. Here are some of my other favorite moments from the day:
-Personal, hand written vows (which caused many tears among bridesmaids and guests)
-Hundreds of hugs throughout the day
-Stunning purple bouquets
-Buttons on Chelsea’s dress
-Their first dance ending with the perfect dip
-Just enough frosting on each other’s face during the cake cutting
-An awesome wedding party
-And a beautiful sparkler exit

Congratulations again, Mr. and Mrs. Hall! I love you both so much and I’m so thankful that we were able to capture your wedding day! Hugs and love!

Chelsea’s First Look thoughts: Tim and I had decided to do a first look pretty early on in the planning stages for our wedding. We knew that it would be a very emotional moment and there was something special about it being between just the two of us. Our first look was definitely one of the best parts of the whole day. I could not wait for Tim to see me for the first time on our wedding day, in my wedding dress. Being able to laugh with him in excitement, hug him and see all aspects of our wedding outfits (which you can’t do during the ceremony) was priceless. Not to mention, it makes for some incredible pictures! I enjoyed walking down the aisle and seeing the look on our guest’s faces that much more, knowing that Tim was already so in love with the way I looked as his bride.

Besides the emotional factor of doing a first look, we were so thankful having done our pictures beforehand. No one prepares you for how chaotic it is trying to do family pictures (and I’m sure it wasn’t just our families!) You have grandparents that can’t stand for long, and kids who can’t stand still for long and parents and siblings who keep disappearing to the bar…. Needless to say, we were so thankful we already had our pictures done, the ones you cherish forever and frame in your home.

Thank you Emily and Thomas for encouraging us to do a first look! It was the best decision we’ve ever made! Besides getting married of course. 🙂
