It was the beginning of February, and we were heading to Jenna and Jacob’s The Paseo wedding in Arizona! Our first wedding in the sunny desert state. It was the perfect way to kick off our 2023 season. These two just shine together – radiating joy and so in love. The way they look at each other and melt into each other’s arms is so heartwarming. I hope this feeling follows them forever.

The Paseo is such a great venue. It is conveniently located – and the views there are spectacular. The desert was the perfect backdrop for photos on this warm, sunny day. Jenna got ready in the bridal suite with the help of her mom and maid of honor. Her dress was classic and elegant – just like her. It fit her perfectly and the details on the back of her gown made it even more special. She wore lace Bella Belle wedges and delicate pearl jewelry.

Jenna and Jacob prayed, independently with their respective wedding parties, before the ceremony. Watching them both be circled with love and hope was such a special moment of this day. They waited until the walk down the aisle to see each other for the first time – and the smiles on their faces said it all – they are so in love and so excited to be married!

As the ceremony began, there was a shift in the air. Some chilly wind came over us and gray clouds were seen off in the distance. The couple exchanged vows, and rings, and as they shared their first kiss some rain sprinkled down on them – giving them just that little bit of “rainy luck” for perfect wedding day. That cloudy weather delivered the most beautiful sunset over the desert. The sky lit up with pink, oranges, and blues. It was a sunset that I know they’ll both think back on often.

The wedding continued in the reception space at The Paseo – a glass barn that allows the guests to take a peek at the beautiful view. The ceiling was dripping with twinkle lights – Jenna’s favorite. As they shared their first dance and toasts, the lights sparkled behind them. Everyone danced for hours, enjoying cupcakes throughout the night as well. The day concluded with an epic bubble exit where the guests sent the couple on their way to enjoy the beginning of this next chapter!

Jenna and Jacob – you two are the best! You were such a delight to work with. Your outlook on life, positive energy, kindness, excitement – those are traits that I admire. I know you two will do so many wonderful things together – like making the world a better place. I hope we get to enjoy that double date soon!
