Amy and Jacques put a smile on my face. Their sense of humor is unlike anyone else’s. They are constantly poking fun at each other – but they are the kindest people. Throughout the two years we worked with them leading up to their Silver Creek Country Club wedding, Amy went out of her way to make us feel loved. And, that didn’t change on the wedding day! When we arrived to photograph the wedding, Amy handed me my own pair of Rothy’s! It was such a generous, thoughtful gesture – I was just blown away. On top of that, they even sat us at a real table with the guests – so we could enjoy the 9 course meal like the rest of their friends and family. It was so thoughtful of them. I find it amazing after how challenging the past two years have been, that people like Amy and Jacques, who are in the medical field, still go above and beyond to make others feel loved, when we are the ones that should be bending over backwards in gratitude for all of the work they’ve done in their careers.

Jacques and Amy were married at the Saint Francis of Assisi Church in San Jose. The priest did an amazing job translating for everyone in attendance – and making us all laugh throughout the service. After the church ceremony, we headed to Amy’s family’s home for an intimate and traditional tea ceremony. Amy looked beautiful in her ao dai.

For the reception portion of the celebration, everyone made their way to Silver Creek Country Club – where the reception space looks out over the hills of San Jose. It is breathtaking! All of the guests enjoyed a delicious, traditional, 9 course meal. Amy and Jacques are so loved – and it is clear that everyone was so thrilled to finally celebrate these two and their marriage!

Thank you for everything you do – for us – and for your community. The world is a better place because of people like you. We are so happy for you both – and hope that we are able to connect again when you are in the bay. Keep being remarkable people!
