Lucia and Matt were a huge breath of fresh air! They brought so much good energy to this Rodeo Beach and Mount Tam engagement session. I am thrilled with how sweet and emotional their photos turned out. It felt like I was tagging along for a playful date – where I was watching them flirt and enjoy their afternoon together – snuggling and stealing kisses along the way.

Matt and Lucia love spending time together outdoors – and they are thankful to be in the bay area, where skiing and surfing are available within driving distance. It only seems fitting that they got engaged on one of their regular walks around the city. Last December, they were hiking through Land’s End – a beautiful spot in the city with sweeping coastal views. Matt handed his phone to a tourist and asked them to snap a few photos – and dropped down on one knee – asking Lucia to be his wife.

For their engagement photos, they wanted a natural, simple backdrop. At Rodeo Beach, the wind was gusty and added an extra element to the photos – but Lucia was such a sport about it! She wore a beautiful white dress with orate cutout detailing and a fun belt. Matt wore a button down with a casual blazer and some leather sneakers. On Mount Tam, Lucia changed into a beautiful blue and white floral dress. They had never been to the top of Mount Tam, and we all sat in awe for a few moments, soaking up the beauty of the bay.

Lucia and Matt, I’m so excited to see you again in June! You two have such a playful, lighthearted connection. I was so inspired spending the afternoon with you!
