Sometimes engagement sessions just feel like you’re hanging out with old friends and catching up – and this is how it felt with Annie and Kyle – despite the fact that we were meeting them for the first time. Kyle and Annie have such a down to earth, easy going attitude. Even with crazy wind and freezing temperatures for their Marin engagement session, they made it seem like nothing could go wrong. They were together and that was all that mattered. At one point, they even started singing and dancing to their first dance tune – it was absolutely adorable to witness them be so alive in that moment, with not a worry if they were off key or looked silly in front of us. It was a memory I hope to remember for decades to come. Thank you two for inviting us into your lives so quickly.
These two met online – as so many of our couples do. Annie was interested to see that Kyle had a photo of him backpacking, because she herself is an avid backpacker and loves to explore the outdoors. However, it turns out that Kyle had only been on one backpacking trip. Despite feeling “cat-fished” about his passion for backpacking, Annie gave him a shot and they hit it off. And of course, she took him on many more adventures! They’re even going on a luxurious camping trip for their honeymoon all across France, Switzerland and Italy.
Annie and Kyle, we can’t wait to celebrate with you next month in Lake Tahoe! The charcuterie board picnic in the tailgate was the sweetest gesture. You two are the best – for endless reasons! We have loved spending time with you!
