We loved meeting Thanh-Ha and Ryan for their Lover’s Lane and Fort Funston engagement session. These two adore their sweet dog Pepper, who they adopted in 2020 during covid, and brought her along to star in the photos. Thanh-Ha and Ryan, first connected on a dating app in 2017. Their journey into forever began with an ice-skating date in Union Square, where Thanh-Ha, a former figure skater, rediscovered her skills, creating memories of laughter and hand-holding as Ryan navigated the ice, not so gracefully.

For their engagement session, the couple chose two picturesque locations that perfectly mirrored their love story – Lover’s Lane and Fort Funston. Lover’s Lane provided a romantic backdrop with its historic charm and grand eucalyptus trees – it smells so good there. Fort Funston, a favorite spot for the couple (and their furry companion Pepper), offered breathtaking views and a sense of adventure. The expansive landscapes and coastal vistas became the canvas for capturing their love in its most natural setting.

Ryan popped the question while diving underwater in Hawaii! He thought of everything – from a GoPro to ensure the moment was documented, to a flotation device for the ring (he tied it to a cork) to ensure that it didn’t get lost along the way.

As Bay Area natives, Thanh-Ha from Palo Alto and Ryan from San Carlos, they are set to tie the knot at the Garden at Heather Farms in Walnut Creek. The engagement session not only captured their love but also highlighted the diverse beauty of the Bay Area, creating timeless memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.
