In early November, I received the sweetest inquiry from Meaghan. I remember exactly where I was when it came through (on Bart!) and I was so excited to continue the conversation and hopefully get to know her and Danny. A few days later, I received another email from her following up on her first email. Apparently my response got lost in cyber space! Well – I’m so glad she followed up because she and Danny are pretty amazing people and I’m so excited that we’re working together! We set up a consultation and just a week later we took their Land’s End engagement photos!
Danny and Meaghan met 3 years ago in San Francisco, just a few weeks earlier, Meaghan learned that she would be moving to Boston within the year. They had an amazing year of adventures together in SF, followed by a year of long-distance with frequent weekend reunions. Now, they’re living in Boston together while Meaghan finishes up her fellowship. Earlier this year, Meaghan and Danny took a trip down to Costa Rica. Despite both encountering food poisoning, it was still the perfect trip to propose! Danny popped the question during the whirlwind trip and Meaghan said yes!
Meaghan and Danny wanted to show us around their favorite local spots – which I was super excited about! After a little back and forth, we finalized the perfect locations for their engagement session. Meaghan explained that they used to walk through Land’s End on the weekends, so we went down the path further than we ever had, and we found some incredible views (and the labyrinth!). At the end of the session, they took us to their favorite dim sum restaurant! It was such a treat to spend the day with these two! They made each other laugh to easily and you can tell they’re both so excited to spend the rest of their lives together.
Danny and Meaghan, thank you for being persistent! I’m so glad you sent a follow up email and that we were able to connect! Thomas and I had a blast during your engagement session (sorry we took up half of your day!!)! We can’t wait to work with you two over the next year. 😀
