Ahhhh! These two make my heart so happy! Kat and Chad invited us up to Bar Harbor, Maine for their engagement session and we were so stoked to finally meet these two!

Chad and Kat live in DC and are both crushing it in the real world. Chad is a lawyer working on a handful of high profile cases and Kat is an attorney. She also recently became the first alumna from UF (go gators!) to be a SCOTUS clerk which is a huge deal! This was showing up on my facebook feed before Kat and I were even facebook friends – so yeah, I had to brag on her a little bit!

Not only are these two incredibly driven, they are also incredibly sweet. When we first met, I felt as though we had been friends for years. They were so personable and welcoming. Annnnnd don’t even get me started on their style. Umm, I pretty much want to be Kat. Or at least, live in her wardrobe! Chad found this amazing suitcase in Alaska and insisted on bringing it along for their session – I love its character! Clearly these two are absolutely the cutest!

Kat and Chad are adventurers! They love exploring the outdoors – whether it be by bike, kayak, or foot. A national park was the perfect place to document their love!

Chad and Kat, Thomas and I are so excited to ring in the new year with your wedding! I know it will be a fabulous event! You two are amazing and we feel so grateful to play a part in this time of your life. Sending hugs to you both!
