Simply put, Kristen and Greg are the bee’s knees. These two are awesome!! When we first met, we had them over for “appetizers” and that quickly turned into a 3 hour event that lasted way beyond dinner…and we managed to somehow eat our way through half of our pantry. We had so much to catch up on! It felt as though we had been friends our whole life but just had to catch up on everything in between…
A few months later, Thomas and I headed up north to Boston to visit them in their neck of the woods for their engagement session. We entered their house and I practically melted. It has so much character – from the wooden ladder that brings you into a loft to the vintage dining room table that Greg’s grandmother used to can her goods on. It had nooks and crannies that my house dreams are made of!
Kristen and Greg met at a cabaret show. Kristen was a guest performer, and Greg was there to spend time with a buddy whose girlfriend (who happened to be Kristen’s friend) was in the show. Greg and Kristen were introduced by their mutual friends briefly before the performance began. Greg was a bit surprised when he recognized Kristen on stage during the show as he didn’t realize she would be performing! After the show, all four of them headed to dinner. Needless to say, Kristen and Greg hit it off, and spoke with each other the entire evening. The tricky part here is that Kristen lived in NYC and Greg lived in Boston…but the distance didn’t stop them!
We cannot wait to be part of their day in May! They are celebrating their marriage at the Tampa Armature Works – a new venue in downtown Tampa. It should be an amazing celebration and we couldn’t be more thrilled for them. 🙂
Kristen and Greg – thank you for your hospitality and showing us all around Boston! A huge thank you for not kicking us out when Thomas made that super seasoned chicken… 😉 You two are really an amazing pair and we are so thankful that we get to celebrate with you! Hugs!
