When Lindsay and Kevin first reached out about their wedding, I knew it was going to be something truly special. These two have such fun, playful personalities—it’s easy to see how much they enjoy life together. It was also clear that they both wanted to take a part in the wedding planning – which I appreciate. Their adventurous spirits and love for exploring the world made me excited to capture their June Martis Camp wedding!

The day was a beautiful celebration of their journey together. Lindsay, who grew up in Marin, and Kevin, who spent his childhood under the Arizona sun, first met at Claremont McKenna College during freshman orientation. Though they were simply friends back then, fate had other plans, and by their senior year, their story officially began. With their labradoodle, Finn, by their side and countless weekends spent skiing and hiking in Tahoe, the mountains became their haven. So, it was only fitting that they would say “I do” surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of Martis Camp – that ceremony spot still takes my breath away.

Kevin’s face lit up the moment he saw Lindsay during their first look—pure elation. It was a moment of stillness amidst the whirlwind of the day.

The ceremony had panoramic views of Truckee’s evergreens and mountains stretching into the distance. Lindsay was radiant in her strapless Anne Barge gown, her hair softly pulled back with a few delicate tendrils framing her face. She carried a bouquet in soft, buttery tones—a perfect complement to the natural beauty surrounding them. Throughout the ceremony, her veil caught the wind, playfully lifting like it wanted to take flight.

After the ceremony, guests made their way to the Martis Camp Family Barn for an alfresco dinner among the trees. Long tables were set with lush, ikebana-style floral arrangements—delicate ranunculus, airy flox, elegant foxglove, and garden roses, all perfectly nestled among flickering candlelight. The wicker-backed chairs and soft light filtering through the trees created a cozy yet elevated woodland atmosphere.

As the evening unfolded, Lindsay made a quick change into a playful short lace dress, ready to hit the dance floor. Laughter, music, and clinking glasses echoed into the night as guests celebrated under the canopy of the Tahoe sky.

Lindsay and Kevin, your wedding was a testament to the love you’ve built. From the wind-tossed veil and colorful florals to the laughter shared with friends and family, your day was as vibrant as the two of you. Wishing you endless adventures ahead—and the most incredible honeymoon in Fiji!
