Parker Grace Events does it again! When one of her clients asked her to help with her Christmas dinner table, Meghan decided to go all out with this luxurious red and pink holiday decor – complete with pearl details and a floral Christmas tree. No detail goes untouched when Meghan is involved and I was blown away the moment I stepped into this Lafayette home to photograph it. The room was set up with two circular tables. Each table had a large centerpiece with the most beautiful poppies and red amaryllis. Layers of white and gold plates were complimented by white matte handled flatware and velvet napkins. A vellum scroll with gold foil acted as a place card for each guest. And the chairs? My favorite! Mauve velvet beauties from Theoni really provided a festive touch.
Jen from Busy Bee Floral Design decked out this tree with hundreds of blooms. Each tucked into the tree to make it seem as though the tree were made purely from flowers. Such an incredible focal point for this Christmas dinner.
Guests enjoyed champagne to start off their meal, with floral arrangements on the stems of their coup. Guests wrote notes of gratitude that they shared with one another throughout dinner.
Photographing this beautiful setup definitely provided some holiday decor inspiration for myself – and now I know I need to raise the bar for next year!
All of these were shot on film – many with off camera flash. This was a good exercise for me as artificial lighting has been a focus of mine for the last year or so.
