Ali and Andrew are the kind of people that give off positive energy. Being around them fills you with excitement – you know you’re about to have a fun time. They’re easy to get along with, laid back, yet always down for a good time. After some debate, we finally settled on the idea of a Griffith Observatory engagement session – plus some photos at a local indie theater – and some at their home in their favorite nook. It was a day full of photos, but we loved spending time with them and getting to know them better.

Ali and Andrew met at Chapman College in Orange County while volunteering as orientation assistants. Ali was there for acting, and Andrew was studying directing. With many mutual friends, it was surprising their paths hadn’t crossed up until this point. Needless to say, they hit it off and started dating. After graduation, Ali was debating moving to New York, but after two weeks in the winter, she knew that LA was the place for her. Good thing – because it allowed her and Andrew to stay together.

Andrew proposed to Ali shortly after arriving in London after a redeye flight. Needless to say, Ali wasn’t expecting it after such a haul. They made their way to Paddington’s house (one of their favorite movies – adding it to my list now!) and Andrew kneeled down. Ali saw the beautiful family ring and, of course, said yes!

Now, they’re planning their Carmel wedding at Holman Ranch with the help of Ruby & Rose. I know it is going to be incredible. I can already tell how loved these two are by their friends and family.
