Eeeek! I’ve been waiting to post this blog for more than five months! Farrah and Tyler wanted their engagement photos to be a secret until after their wedding, but now that they are married, I’m so excited to share them!
Farrah and Tyler’s love story has been in the works for quite some time. They met in 8th grade when Farrah moved to Florida. They were friends and when Junior Prom rolled around and neither of them had dates, they decided to go together. Sparks flew, and they began dating. They dated through the rest of high school and all of college. They both attended UCF in Orlando.
After being together for eight years, the anticipation of a proposal sort of wore off. Farrah said she used to think it would happen on their anniversary or valentines day, but eventually she stopped worrying about it and just enjoyed the relationship. She knew it would happen when the time was right.
Well, on their eight year anniversary, the time was right. Farrah and Tyler swap planning Valentine’s Day and their anniversary. It is a total surprise to the other person until the actual day. This time, it was Tyler’s turn to plan the anniversary. So Tyler told Farrah what to pack and then they headed on an eight hour car ride to North Carolina. Farrah had never been, but she is a huge Nicholas Sparks fan and many of his books take place there, so it was on her bucket list for sure. He had the whole weekend planned. They drove into the mountains and spent the day hiking. The trekked up to get to the edge of a hanging cliff (insert me panicking here) and there, he proposed. Farrah and Tyler kept their proposal a secret over the weekend and just enjoyed the time by themselves to celebrate and soak this all up! On their drive home, they called their family and friends.
They got married on their nine year anniversary – how adorable. Of course, it was Farrah’s turn to plan that one. 😉
We loved spending an afternoon at Lake Louisa with them! They are so photogenic and just absolutely love on each other. Our job was a breeze and these two crushed it.
Farrah and Tyler, thank you so much for being fantastic! I loved your energy and enthusiasm. We are so excited to be a part of your love story! 🙂
