If I had to pick a favorite part of this amazing journey – it would be Drakensberg. The beauty was unreal. The greens were so lush and the mountains were so impressive. It was as if we were on the set of Lord of the Rings.

The group ventured on a hike to the “blue lagoon.” Let’s just say – we never found the lagoons – but we did enjoy the sights and a quick dip in the river. And we did not enjoy the revenge of the most intense stickies I’ve ever experienced in my life.

That night, we had a buffet dinner – and everyone pretty much died over all of the delicious stir fry. I was in dessert heaven. Too. Many. Options.

The next day we enjoyed more hiking, followed by some exciting events (to be continued in another blog post!).
