We met Lisa and Amish very early one morning for their downtown St. Pete engagement session. Let me just say, these two were troopers! Despite the heat, they champed up and looked absolutely adorable while doing it. After their session, we all headed to our cars, ready to continue on with our day. Thomas and I looked at each other as we were packing up and said, “Should we get breakfast with them?” “Well… they are moving this weekend, I’m sure they’ve got a busy day ahead of them…” As soon as we hopped in the front seat, we saw Lisa walking over. “Do you want to get breakfast?” Yaaaas! Our kind of couple!

Lisa and Amish met through mutual friends while Amish was in Florida for an externship during dental school. They got to know each other and soon realized there was a lot more there between them. Soon after, they started dating.

This past March, Amish proposed while they were visiting Cuba. I haven’t been, but as Lisa and Amish described it across the breakfast table, I felt as though we were there. A time capsule filled with 50’s classic cars, colorful buildings, and beautiful beaches.

We loved getting to know these two (fun fact – Lisa and Thomas knew each other back in college!). Their laughter and lighthearted spirits were exactly what we love about our couples!

Amish and Lisa, thank you for everything – teaching us a bit about Indian wedding traditions, cracking us up with your stories of the “little stuffed cat,” and inviting us to brunch with you! I hope we see you two again soon!
