I couldn’t be more excited to share this stunning Carneros Resort wedding with you today. This couple – their energy – the florals – her gown – everything came together perfectly for Alexis and Oscar and I was so grateful to be a part of it! No detail was forgotten and they incorporated so many meaningful elements to represent them as a couple.
The gorgeous watercolor wedding invitation suite complete with custom map by Hudson Ink set the stage for the event. The bright colors and fun calligraphy were incorporated throughout the day. Alexis got ready in a cottage on the Carneros Resort property. Gabriel Mendoza styled her hair (he even cut it that morning!) and Bianca Rubi made her look more beautiful than any of us could have imagined. Not only that, but they helped out throughout the day, constantly providing touchups and truly going above and beyond.
Alexis wore a beautiful Galia Lahav gown, Maya. The intricate floral appliques combined with the flirty straps and stunning silhouette – this gown was made for Alexis! She carried a bouquet with a variety of warm tones by Sarah’s Garden Design. Poppies, ranunculus, tulips, roses, and even white peacock feathers were pulled together with blush silk ribbon for her bouquet.
Oscar and Alexis are such a sweet pair. They are truly the kind of people that make you feel as though you’ve been friends for ages. You’re instantly part of the crew! They have lively personalities and clearly have so much passion for life! They love to travel together and push each other to be the best that they can be.
Their wedding ceremony was held at the Hilltop at Carneros Resort. This space sits atop a rolling hill and provides the most beautiful backdrop – complete with wandering cows! Guests entered the space through an orange building and were greeted with a display of family photos. Grabbing some fresh lemonade, they took their seats and waited for the ceremony to start. I thought it was so beautiful how Oscar stopped at the beginning of the aisle to escort his grandmothers to their seats in the front row. Alexis made her way down the aisle on her father’s arm. They concluded the ceremony with a champagne toast – one for their friends, one for their family, and one to them as the newly married couple. It was such a fun way to make their ceremony unique!
During cocktail hour, guests enjoyed watching the sun set over the golden hills while sipping on signature cocktails and champagne from the bubbly bar.
The reception was held outdoors at the Carneros Hilltop space. Guests took their seats at four long farm tables with lush garlands and a menu at each place with their name at the top. Toasts were shared and it was so evident how loved both Oscar and Alexis are. The kindest remarks and memories were shared!
As guests made their way into the reception space to dance, the hora began and Oscar and Alexis were tossed into the air. DJ Amy Robbins kept the music flowing for hours and the night concluded with a balloon drop! Such a fun conclusion to a perfect wedding day!
Alexis and Oscar, I absolutely loved getting to know you both over the last year! You truly have such contagious and infectious energy! I wish you both a lifetime of happiness and hope that our paths cross again soon!
