When one of my favorite Florida photographers, Nate Puhr, asked if I could help shoot an Auberge du Soleil wedding with him, there was no question that the answer was yes! Nate is so talented, humble, and friendly – and it was so nice to work alongside him for this beautiful Napa wedding with classic blush details.

The bride had great taste. From her Jimmy Choo heels to her pink Mrs. Box – I couldn’t get enough of her details. Her dress had a ruffled skirt that showed off her bubbly personality. Her bouquet by Nancy Lu Chin was classic and elegant. The bouquet had peonies, ranunculus, olive branches, eucalyptus, and roses.

The Auberge du Soleil wedding ceremony was held on the balcony over looking Napa. Parasols were handed out to keep the guest cool during the ceremony. At the alter, stood two large floral arrangements. The couple opted to wait until the ceremony to see each other – and the groom choked back tears as the bride walked down the aisle. During the ceremony they exchanged personal vows, one of my favorite traditions.

After the ceremony, we whisked the couple down the road to take portraits – and that California light showed up for us! The couple was so happy to be married – they radiated joy!

Auberge du Soleil has an indoor wedding reception space right by the ceremony. Tables were set with tall centerpieces or long garlands. Guests found their seats thanks to laser cut wooden names that sat at each setting. For dessert, they served petite cakes to the guests.
