My heart gets so happy when I think of Amy and Tyler. These two are wonderful people. Independently, they are rock stars, but together, they can take on the world. Simply put, they are good people who are even better together.

Amy and Tyler met more than three years ago – the first week Amy moved to Florida. She had moved from Colorado, although she is originally from Wisconsin. They met at Amy’s work, where Tyler was volunteering. Amy’s program serves youth and adults with varying intellectual and physical disabilities and helps them with leisure actives as well as integrating in the community. Tyler has volunteered with the program for ten years, and when Amy joined the team, he took notice of her.

About a year and a half later, after a steady friendship had been built, they went on their first date. And here we are today, planning their wedding!

Amy describes Tyler as the most considerate, supportive, caring and compassionate person she knows. He would give and give and give, even to a stranger, until he has nothing more to offer. Those are big things to say about someone, but after meeting Tyler myself, I know that Amy is right. He is a wonderful person. But don’t let Amy’s good heart hide behind her compliments to Tyler. Amy is wonderful too! She has a heart of gold. She is one of those girls that you meet, and you feel like you’ve known her for a lifetime. She is strong. She is filled with love.
