I’m not sure if you know it, but weddings are a difficult beast to coordinate! At the beginning, it is hard to wrap your mind around it all, and as the date creeps closer, you spend hours planning out the tiny details.
Alison and Zach did a fantastic job planning their sunflower filled rustic wedding at Stonebridge Weddings (previously Lange Farm). Throw in a lot of DIY projects from a lovely bridesmaid and you’ve got a beautiful wedding!
The group got ready at Saddlebrook in Wesley Chapel. The girls had their hair and makeup done by the super efficient girls at Michele Renee Hair and Makeup. The guys soaked up the 93 degree heat by the pool.
A few hours later, we all followed one another over to Lange Farm – I was in awe of its beauty. The big trees and the light pouring through the Spanish moss – it was a dream! The little blue barn was a perfect accent too.
Alison put on her sweetheart strapless dress and her sister helped her into her embroidered cowboy boots before she went to see Zach for the first time.
The rest of the day was a whirlwind, but thees were some of my favorite moments:
- Their sweet first look – how excited they were to see each other and how they just talked and enjoyed the moment.
- The abundance of sunflowers – everywhere!
- All of the DIY projects – the card chest, the ring box, the chalkboard signs, the lawn games, and the Mr. and Mrs. chair signs.
- Alison’s entrance on an antique truck from The Southern Letterpress.
- The sweet ceremony and the horses that made their way over to witness the event.
- Some delicious fried mac & cheese balls from Puff n’ Stuff.
- Cigars enjoyed on the porch.
- An awesome dance party enjoyed by all!
Alison and Zach’s wedding was really a special day, filled with so many happy friends and families. It was so special to see them all together celebrating!
Alison and Zach, thank you so much for including us in your day. It was really beautiful and I’m so grateful for the opportunity. I know your marriage has decades of happiness ahead for you to cherish!
