When Jacquelyn and Tomas reached out about their wedding, they mentioned including a Carmel engagement session. Carmel is a spot that’s meaningful to Jacquelyn as she travels often here with her family. They also wanted their session to have a little inspiration from “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” sprinkled in to match their fun, laid back, sarcastic sense of humor. It was so fun to wander the streets of downtown Carmel and take a spin along Carmel’s 17 Mile Drive for their engagement session! They rented a beautiful Porsche convertible for the occasion. Unfortunately, the sun wasn’t shining and it might not have been “true top down” weather, but we still got to create some fun memories together as they sipped their coffee and enjoyed the moment.

Tomas and Jacquelyn met online – as so many couples do these days. Jacquelyn brought along her cavapoo, Pippi, to their first date. Tomas and Pippi hit it off – and that was all Jacquelyn needed to recognize that Tomas was a good man. Needless to say, they connected quickly and laughed often.

For their proposal, Tomas treated Jacquelyn to a delicious homemade Italian meal. That evening, they took Pippi for a walk, and as they made their way back home, he got down on one knee and asked Jacquelyn to be his wife. I love when something simple can turn out to be so beautiful.

They officially tied the knot during 2020, but are eagerly awaiting their wedding reception celebration in spring 2022 at Trentadue Winery. They are going to incorporate lots of bright color, delicious tapas, and hopefully plenty of light hearted laughs as well.

Jacquelyn and Tomas, it was so nice to finally meet you after so much anticipation! I loved your sense of humor and your fun personalities! It was such a treat to get to know you both and explore side streets with you! I am looking forward to celebrating again next year!
