One of my favorite places in the San Francisco area is Marin Headlands. The views are so stunning – the combination of mountains and water plus a view of the city – it is hard to beat! When Sujing described what she wanted for her engagement photos, I knew that Marin Headlands was the perfect choice!
When Sujing got out of the car I was so excited to see that she was actually wearing a wedding gown! Someone pinch me! She also carried a bouquet with succulents to complete the look. We definitely were showered with “congratulations” throughout the session and I think it was great preparation for their wedding at Harvest Inn in Napa which took place just one week later. They are so sweet together!
After exploring the trails of the Marin Headlands we ventured over the Golden Gate bridge and finished our session at Land’s End and Sutro Baths. The baths opened in the 1800s. It was a was a large, privately owned public saltwater swimming pool complex. In the mid 1900s the baths were converted into an ice skating rink and a few laters the building burned down – leaving the ruins we see today. They’re unlike anything that I’ve seen and definitely make a beautiful spot for engagement photos in San Francisco.
Sujing and Zhiyao, I’m so glad that we had the opportunity to capture such a fun time in your lives! I’m so grateful that you were able to squeeze this session into your busy schedule! Thank you for including us!
