Friends – I’ve been holding onto this Haus 820 Wedding inspiration for far too long and I’m so excited to finally share it!
Amber Veatch Designs thrives on planning and designing heart-felt weddings. Her vision and concepts are incredible. When she walked into Haus 820, a new event space in Lakeland, Florida, for the first time, she saw a blank palette. With the white brick walls, floor to ceiling windows, and glossy concrete floors, Amber was inspired to create a wedding for the modern bride. Ultimately, she wanted the venue to be the heartbeat behind the design, so she opted for a simple, elegant color palette, filled with greenery.
Elven Note created an invitation suite that set the stage for the event. With the modern font, and ample white space in the suite, the guests were welcomed to a wedding unlike any other they had attended. The deep green envelopes were the perfect accent!
Next, our stunning bride, Stacey, wore a hand-beaded, fitted Lazaro gown. The lace and and intricate detail is unparalleled. As a modern bride, Stacey looked flawless with the illusion back and beautiful train. Stacey’s hair was pulled back in an ornate bun. Her heavy bangs framed her face perfectly. Lasting Luxe’s makeup was fresh and natural, providing Stacey with a natural glow. She carried a simple bouquet overflowing with greenery, eucalyptus, and ferns.
Alternatively, Travis wore a fitted suit from The Black Tux. His simple gray tie pulled together his look effortlessly. He wore a boutonniere with natural greenery on his lapel.
Stacey and Travis met for their ceremony in front of a backdrop of greenery. White cross back chairs were lined with glass lanterns holding pillar candles.
From there, the couple enjoyed a meal with their guests. The table was set immaculately. Gray ceramic dishes sat upon driftwood chargers. Copper flatware tied in perfectly with the copper centerpieces and candelabra. Each table number was indicated with a piece of glass that had been perfectly hand-lettered.
Finally, for dessert, guests enjoyed a three tiered, hand-painted cake as well as cupcakes, and hexagon, hand-painted cookies. The modern, geometric backdrop added so much to the decor, as it held candles and bottles filled with greenery.
A lounge area from Wish Vintage Rentals was set up as a spot for guests to relax before tearing up the dance floor. I love the green accent pillows, and the use of copper to tie in seamlessly with the tablescape and dessert bar!
Before the sun set across the lake, Stacey and Travis snuck away to take some final portraits.
It was a beautiful event that was executed flawlessly thanks to a team of incredible vendors. Please take a look at the beautiful video that Rad Red Creative captured to document the day with exceptional detail!
We are all so excited to see this featured over on Grey Likes Weddings!
