Emily and Peter had a beautiful Sacred Heart Church and Casa Bella Estate wedding in mid February. The weather was absolutely perfect and the day was so smooth and easy! Emily and Peter opted to have an intimate wedding, which I absolutely loved. They were surrounded by their family and closest friends throughout the celebration.

Their ceremony was held at Sacred Heart Church in downtown Tampa. The church was constructed in the early 1900’s and is stunning! Inside the white marble welcomes guests as they stare in awe at the 135 foot dome ceiling. As Emily made her way down the aisle with the help of her father, everyone was in awe as they saw her for the first time. Emily explained to me later that her dad had tried not to hold her as she learned to walk as a toddler, because he wanted her to be independent. He didn’t want to spoil her. But she held him as they walked down the aisle together and she saw his eyes glistening with tears. She knew that he wanted to hold on just a little longer this time.

The reception was held at Casa Bella Estate in Odessa, Florida. What a gem! It looks like a little slice of Italy. With the grand entrance, ionic columns, and marble fountain, it is a sight to be seen! The guests enjoyed a cocktail hour outside with a violinist and endless hors d’oeuvres. Inside, the estate was even more beautiful – with original paintings and the most beautiful architecture.

Guests made their way to the back patio for dinner and Emily and Peter shared their first dance. They had practiced perfectly and everyone was impressed with their twirls and dips!

The evening continued past sunset. Guests enjoyed dancing, dipping their toes in the water, and sampling an array of desserts. It was a beautiful evening as everyone celebrated Emily and Peter’s marriage!

Peter and Emily, thank you for including me in your wedding celebration! It was so fun meeting your family and friends! Thank you for treating me like one of them. 🙂 Congratulations to you both!
