Nina and Zane’s wedding at Viansa with Quintana Events was one that we had been looking forward to since the day these two hired us. They have such amazing, fun loving personalities. They are passionate about life and love spending quality time with their people. It is so clear that they adore one another. The respect that they have for themselves and their relationship is powerful. They are kind. They are selfless and caring. Nina is a doctor and Zane is a teacher – truly two of the most impactful careers.

Nina wore her mother’s wedding dress from 1986. It is in beautiful condition, and something that Nina would have picked out herself. I think it is so special that she got to continue her parent’s story through the dress. Inside the slip, she sewed two hearts – one each from her maternal grandmother’s wedding gown and her other paternal grandmother’s wedding sari. Her “something blue” were fabulous pleated heels with the cutest bows!

Zane got ready with his groomsmen on the Fairmont Sonoma property. They spent the morning playing chess and toasting to the groom! Zane wore a light blue suit with a pink silk tie and pocket square.

Nina and Zane shared a first look at Viansa Sonoma, a gorgeous property with sweeping views of the vineyards and surrounding hills. It truly feels like a little slice of Italy in California’s wine country.

The ceremony took place on the upper grass lawn that looks out towards the north. During their ceremony, Nina and Zane had many members of their wedding party perform songs and readings. Zane’s brother was the pianist and Nina’s sister was the violinist. Zane teared up as their friends and family performed the song that he had written, “Cinnamon and Cardamom,” (an ode to their relationship and also the inscription on the inside of their rings).  These two truly took the time to make their ceremony special to them and their relationship – it was beautiful. It concluded with an epic dip kiss and a petal toss as they recessed back up the aisle!

Guests danced the night away with the help of the band, Pop Fiction. There was even a choreographed number that the wedding party busted out towards the end of the night. Such a perfect wedding at Viansa!

Nina and Zane, thank you for allowing us into your lives – we just adore you! I’m so thankful that our paths crossed and that we have had the opportunity to get to know your kind hearts and spirits over the last year. More hikes soon please!
