Buddy and Danielle have a sophisticated, yet comfortable relationship. They have been together since high school, so they’ve spent years growing up together and creating a life that they love, growing into their careers and developing side by side. Danielle and Buddy’s San Francisco City Hall wedding was timeless, classic, elegant, and chic. Being local to San Francisco and loving urban spaces, City Hall seemed like the perfect backdrop for their wedding, especially with a larger guest list. The clean architecture at City Hall is stunning – you cannot beat that grand staircase!

The couple got ready at the Mark Hopkins Hotel – an iconic hotel in the city, and also where Danielle’s parents got married! The suites there were beautiful – the molding and details were remarkable. Danielle and Buddy wanted to do a private first look, so we brought Buddy to Danielle’s suite for the big reveal. They exchanged cards and had a few moments to themselves to soak up the morning before we all made our way to City Hall.

It was a perfect day in San Francisco – the weather couldn’t have been better. The bridesmaids wore champagne colored floor length silk gowns. Danielle’s Oscar de la Renta gown was a work of art. The whole day was a photographer’s dream.

The couple had their ceremony at the base of the grand staircase. Guests “ooh”ed and “ahh”ed as they entered the space. After exchanging rings, Buddy stomped on the glass to honor their Jewish heritage.

Dinner was held on the first floor with circular tables covered in florals and candles. One long head table was created for the family and wedding party to share. Toasts were declared and laughs were plentiful. After dinner, guests made their way to the dancing reception. Buddy and Danielle shared their first dance and from there – the hora began! It was so fun to watch the couple and their families be raised in the chairs of honor. The band that night was remarkable! Some of the best music I’ve heard at a wedding – and the guests thought so too! The floor was packed all night as friends and family celebrated Buddy and Danielle!

Danielle and Buddy – thank you for letting us play a part in this chapter of your story. We loved getting to know you over the last year. You two have hearts of gold – you have so much love for each other, your family and your friends. You two are the epitome of class!
