Monica and Brad grew up in Florida – but through a fun set of circumstances and an online dating profile dare, they met in Charlotte. These two discovered they had several friends in common, and both share a love for the Gators and as much fishing as they can fit into their free time.

Monica is amazingly ambitious, cheerful and just plain happy! Brad is filled with Southern charm and a whole lot of sarcastic humor. Simply put, they just fit together.

For their session, we wanted to explore their neck of the woods – and I’m so glad we did! Charlotte was absolutely beautiful. From the perfect weather to the adorable historic houses, to the walkable but not overwhelming uptown, it may be the perfect city. We enjoyed exploring it by foot for the first half of their session – checking out parks and “parklets” along the way.

After we had seen the beautiful brick and skyscrapers, we headed by car to check out the McGill Rose Garden managed by the women at Nectar Floral Design. I loved the rose-filled sanctuary – complete with garden paths and weeping willows.

Overall, the weekend was a huge success! We all had the chance to bond over The Gators and how delicious dessert crepes are! Monica and Brad – thank you so much for hosting us in your city! It was a blast! We can’t wait to see you all again in October in your old stomping grounds!
