Wendy and Andy reached out just weeks before their wedding day to see if we were available to photograph their Trentadue wedding. We took a look at our calendar and were excited to see that we still had the date open! From there, we all quickly started moving to get everything planned for their wedding. We met up on the peninsula for their Filoli engagement photos – just six days before their wedding day! Wendy wore a beautiful floral sun dress and a bracelet with delicate white ceramic flowers. We strolled through the garden and then headed to a local field with beautiful rolling hills. We loved having the opportunity to spend the afternoon with these two – just days before seeing them again for their wedding.

Wendy has lived all around the world – Sydney, Hong Kong, London, Singapore – and eventually settled in NYC for a year. It was in New York that Andy and Wendy met. Just two months after meeting, Wendy packed her bags again and moved across the country. They started dating long distance. Wendy didn’t want to get her hopes up – but sure enough, Andy found a job on the west coast and moved across the country to be with Wendy in SF. Just spending a few moments with these two – anyone can tell that they just adore each other. I love that they’ve supported one another through big life changes and have always prioritized their relationship. They recently purchased their first home and hope to get a dog in the near future.

Andy and Wendy – you were such a treat! An unexpected date on the calendar, but a wedding and engagement session that we enjoyed from beginning to end. Even though we only worked together for a short time, you left a significant impact on our heart. Thank you for showing us your huge hearts through your contagious smiles.
