Thomas and I love pulling together inspiration shoots in new cities when we travel. When we were visiting Charlotte, I wanted to create an elopement for a woodsy couple that still wanted to slip on a beautiful gown, but din’t want to get caught up in all of the nuances of wedding planning.
Lake Norman outside of the city was the perfect backdrop for this elopement inspiration.
Tate Elizabeth wore a white, beaded BHLDN gown and carried a lush bouquet filled with greenery. Hints of yellow and purple added depth to the overflowing bouquet. Her hair was braided in a thick fishtail, her fresh makeup accenting her eyes. Her husband, Brian, kept things simple in a navy suit.
These two exchanged vows and danced as they celebrated their new marriage.
A huge thank you to Lily Greenthumbs and Lovely by Lindsey for helping us out with this session. Dress from BHLDN.
So thankful that this session was featured last week on The Southeastern Bride. 🙂
