Lake Tahoe is such a remarkable destination for a wedding. When guests are flying in from all over the world, it only seems right to celebrate for numerous days! After a night of s’mores on Thursday, a boat ride around Emerald Bay on Friday, it was finally time for the Edgewood Tahoe welcome party on Friday evening.

Guests were welcomed to the wedding weekend at Edgewood Tahoe with a relaxed, yet elegant welcome dinner. Guests found their seat on a laser cut wooden escort display, in the shape of Lake Tahoe. Large structures covered in greenery housed long family-style tables. The brown and white checkered tablecloths gave the evening an approachable, charming, down-to-earth feel. After we took some portraits on the Edgewood pier, the sun set behind the mountains, painting the sky with shades of pink and yellow as guests ate a family style meal. Friend and family toasted to the happy couple and regaled the guests with tales of their youth – and how much these two have grown together over the past few years. It was the perfect way to kick off the Edgewood Tahoe wedding day (which you can see here)!
