I’m pretty sure this day was a dream. Courtney and Kyle were awesome from the very moment we saw them! It was early in the morning, and you wouldn’t have known it despite the fact that no one had eaten breakfast or had any coffee – these two were buzzing with excitement! The energy was contagious! They just click. They had each other laughing the whole time. And the way that Kyle looks at Courtney makes my heart stop.

The four of us piled into the car and headed to Shine Ridge Trail just outside of Vail. We hiked for a bit, watched the sunrise over the mountains, and took some awesome engagement photos! These two filled us in on so many of their inside jokes and regaled us with the craziest stories about cars and wallets and who knows what else! 😉

Courtney and Kyle met at a summer leadership camp. Neither of them actually wanted to go – but you know, sometimes parents know best. They became quick friends and stayed in touch over the next few years. Junior year of college they officially started dating.

Kyle proposed with the help of their pup, Semus. Semus was wearing a custom collar and of course, Courtney melted. Semus trotted over to her and Courtney saw the collar that said, “Will you marry us?” When Courtney looked up, Kyle was on one knee. I’m such a sucker for dogs being part of the proposal process! It was perfect timing too because Courtney was headed out of town to visit her family in Florida, so she was able to share the news and celebrate with everyone!

Kyle and Courtney – thank you so much for including us in your wedding! You two have such incredible chemistry! I’m so excited to see you both again! Hopefully we can squeeze in another round of racket ball or ping pong? Just kidding…but seriously. 🙂
