I know some people are hesitant about blind dates – but some of them lead to incredible relationships – and Julia and Alex are proof of that! One blind date set up by a mutual friend lead us all the way to SF City Hall to document their upcoming wedding! Pretty fun, right?

Alex proposed earlier this year on a dinner cruise. Although the weather wasn’t amazing (talk about windy and cold) they managed to go out on the balcony for some photos. Julia was shivering as she fluffed her hair for the photo. When she turned to Alex to smile for the photo, he was down on one knee with the most stunning diamond ring!

Being new to San Francisco, I’m still absolutely mesmerized by SF City Hall. For those of you who haven’t seen it – you’re in for a treat! The exterior is faced with granite and on the inside, it has sandstone and lots, and lots of marble! Gold accents are plentiful. And the magnificent dome is actually taller than the US Capitol. My favorite part of City Hall is the grand staircase – and during Alex and Julia’s session we were actually able to have a few minutes to enjoy it all to ourselves! I was on cloud nine!

On top of the beautiful architecture, Alex and Julia were a treat to photograph! Julia has the most contagious smile. Alex looked sharp in his navy suit and was such a gentlemen throughout the session as he helped carry Julia’s train. It is clear that these two love having fun together! I can’t wait to get them back in front of our cameras for upcoming celebrations!

Julia and Alex, thank you so much for including us in this time of your lives! I loved having you both be a part of my first SF City Hall experience – and I’ll always be grateful for that! You two looked stunning and clearly have an incredible bond! I’m so excited to see you both again soon! Hugs!
