I was excited about working with Courtney and Andrew from one of their first emails that came through my inbox. Courtney indicated that they’ve got a big board game collection. If you follow along on instagram, you’ll see that I occasionally admit to my secret obsession. Clearly she knows what’s up! Not only did we have the opportunity to snap some photos of them during their mini Pleasanton engagement session, but we also learned a new board game – Catan! I can’t believe it has taken this long for us to play, but we’ve been stuck in the cooperative board game land up to this point. For the record, Thomas and I lost. haha
Courtney and Andrew met through friends at college. Despite the fact that they both “tried not to like each other,” it was hard to deny that they hit it off. Before they knew it, they were dating. This upcoming May they will say their vows at the Palm Event Center. We visited the venue with them and it is a beauty! Is it too soon to start the countdown?
Thomas and I snuck in a mini engagement session while we were in California. We met at the Marilyn Kane Memorial Trail for a quick session after work. Courtney wore an embroidered lace dress that Andrew purchased for her. Andrew wore a sharp navy blazer. These two were champs, as we begged them to trek through the tall grass. I absolutely love how Andrew made Courtney laugh throughout the session!
Andrew and Courtney, thank you so much for squeezing us into your schedule while we were in town! I’m so glad we played Catan together – Seafarers and Pandemic next time. 😉 We also really enjoyed grabbing dinner after the shoot – thank you for showing us around your city!
