It is always so inspiring to learn from a fantastic photographer – and the Amanda Watson Workshops did not disappoint! Twelve photographers headed to Dallas to learn from Amanda, a down-to-earth film photographer based out of Oklahoma.

On day two, we headed to Aristide and we were greeted with moody, fall wedding inspiration, styled perfectly by Lindsey Zamora.

The tone was set by the dusty blue wedding invitations, created by Fig & Flourish. I don’t often consider of cooler blue tones when I think of fall, but it was the perfect compliment to the deeper maroons and burgundies.

The stunning couple exchanged vows in front of a monochromatic textured backdrop, surrounded by organic greenery. The bride wore a Carol Hannah gown and an incredibly beaded veil. Her eyes were smoky, and her hair was tousled and textures into a moody updo. On her finger sat a ring from Amulette. She carried a stunning bouquet designed by Poppy Lane Design. The Poetry of Silk ribbons around the base of the bouquet continued to die in the dusty blue color. Her groom mirrored her level of sophistication in a white and black suite from The Black Tux.

An intimate dinner was enjoyed outside on the patio. The place settings were immaculate with goods from Posh Couture Rentals. I loved the organic touches of the figs as well as the hellebores that complimented the groom’s boutineer.

At the end of the day, cake was enjoyed by all. Complete with dripping caramel and fresh blueberries, the Layered Bake Shop truly outdid themselves.

Finally, I am so excited to see this featured over on The Perfect Palette!

Shout out to all of the killer vendors that put this together!
