I was so excited when Jackie emailed me saying she wanted to take her engagement photos at Leu Gardens! It is probably my favorite spot in Orlando. The light is always beautiful and there are so many hidden paths along the way. You can easily get lost following the good light (which is exactly what we did).

Will and Jackie met at work. While their initial interest in each other had to be subtle (due to corporate policy…lame sauce) eventually they knew that this was something different and worth pursing. Will proposed to Jackie this past Thanksgiving. It couldn’t have been more perfect, as they were surrounded by family!

Since then, they’ve been planning their upcoming October wedding (working with one of our favorite planners – Plan It Events!) in Lake Nona, Florida.

Jackie and Will wore the perfect outfits for the engagement session! I loved the subtle pastels and the sleeves on Jackie’s dress. The azaleas at Leu Gardens were in full bloom and we probably took too many photos near them – but how could we not? I loved the way these two laughed throughout their photos – hey, it is hard looking at each other for so long without cracking up!

After exploring the gardens, we headed to another area in Winter Park. We had never photographed a Kraft Azalea Park engagement session before, but had always heard good things! I’m so glad we added this spot to itinerary at the last minute because it was so charming! Right along the water, a cool breeze came in. The light diffused through the cypress trees beautifully! It was the perfect way to end the session.

Will and Jackie, thank you so much for letting us drag you all over Orlando! We loved hearing more about your weekends together and how wedding planning is coming along. I love how relaxed you two were throughout the day! I’m even more excited for your wedding – it will be here before we know it!
